Bridgecaster managed to secure the deal on this impressive site with planning permission for two dwellings in Uplyme, East Devon. The site itself was situated down the bottom of a neighbour’s garden with no road access. The first step was to liaise with various consultants to design an access road that would allow suitable access for the construction of the site.

After this was achieved, we could start with the piling and foundations for the properties. The project included getting over the layers of green sand present and levelling off and landscaping the driveway and gardens.

The properties were constructed in traditional blockwork and finished using a mixture of render and Siberian larch. Both properties were finished to a high spec inside and out. The two properties were completed in 16 months using our highly skilled team and trusted sub-contractors. We could not be happier with the final result and the feedback we had from the new homeowners is overwhelming.
